Darko Peljhan competed on 12. Rally delle Marche as first event for Raceday Ronde Terra this weekend in Italy. He and his new codriver Karlo Matić finished in Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX on high second place in N4 class and on seventh place in Raceday Ronde Terra section.
They won on 3/6 special stages, but crew Guerra- Cecci in Subaru Impreza STi N14 was still faster. On finish they were ninth in overall results.
Overall win went into Andrea Smiderle hands with Ford Fiesta RS WRC, who win with 9.7 seconds ahead Francesco Fanari and Jacopo Trevisani, both in Škoda Fabia R5.
First event in this championship was Rally della Val D’Orcia, but was postponed. Next event is Ronde Prealpi Master Show, where we can expect maybe more slovenian drivers but definetly will be there a lot of slovenian spectators.
Championship continues in 2019 season with Rally Valtiberina – Città di Arezzo in March and Liburna Terra in April.
