Nikolay Gryazin and Yaroslav Fedorov dominated from start to finish line in their Škoda Fabia R5 on Rally Liepaja in Latvia this weekend.
Gryazin leads whole event and won 8/12 stages. Whole event hold the same place also Chris Ingram on second place overall. More interesting battle was for third place between four drivers (Ahlin, Kreim, Habaj, Brynildsen). Habaj was first of them out of battle after he hit a rock on last stage on Saturday. Than Brynildsen had a huge accident on SS10. For better finnish of the battle, Ahlin overtook Kreim with win right on last stage and finish event on podium.
Tom Kristensson won in ERC Junior U27 and ERC3 on this event, but wasn’t enough for championship title, which one got local driver Martinš Sesks. Nikolay Gryazin as event winner won and got 2018 title in ERC Junior U28 section.
This event give also champion in ERC Ladies section where Emma Falcon beat Catie Munnings with strange points system.
Tibor Erdi junior, who drove first time R5 rally car on this event, got title in ERC2 section already before this event – the same as overall ERC champion Aleksey Lukyanuk.
