Yes, Takamoto Katsuta is part of Toyota – Japan WRC program and he got first biggest international section win in fifth season of his rally career.
He won 10/19 stages on Rally Sweden, one win went also to his teammate Hiroki Arai from Tommi Makinen Racing Oy team, who finished on P7, but without engine troubles he could be on P4.
Total dominance from Katsuta was on Sweden, because he lost lead just two times (SS1 and SS9). He finished on P11 overall.
Pontus Tidemand finished 4.5 seconds behind Katsuta and 30.5 seconds behind finished Veiby, both in Fabia R5. Fifteen competitors were in WRC2 section and 28 in RC2 class. Numbers tells everything.
