Al-Attiyah took the lead back

Nasser Al-Attiyah took the lead back after second stage win on Dakar Rally.

He climbed up on third place overall after win on SS3 and also because Sebastien Loeb lost a lot of minutes on SS3 (now on P4 –  more than ten minutes behind a leader). Second Toyota’s driver Giniel De Villiers is on P5.

Second overall is Despres – three minutes behind the leader Peterhansel, both in Peugeot 3008 DKR.

Really unluckly are in X-Raid team (Mini). First retiring was Bryce Menzies (first photo below) on SS2. Also teammates Garafulic and Al-Rajhi had accident on SS2 (second photo below).

But this wasn’t all. On yesterday’s SS3 had rollover Nani Roma, then also Mikko Hirvonen stuck in sand. The only one X-Raid driver in Top10 is Orlando Terranova on P8.
