Also this year is Vlastimil Majerčak with Ford Fiesta R5 from Slovakia on the lead after Day 1 on 4. Rally Železniki 2017. Last year was 1.5 ahead Alex Humar, but Alex lost too much on SS2 and dropped on P20.
Second, with one second behind the leader, is Rok Turk (Peugeot 208 T16). The closest driver behind him is Claudio De Cecco (Hyundai i20 R5) from Italy with 3.5 seconds behind Majerčak. So we have three different R5 cars on podium places for now after two stages:
On great P4 is Janos Szilagyi (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX) from Hungary with croatian driving licence. Marko Grossi is first driver with 2WD car (Citroen C2 R2 Max) on fifth place overall. With RWD car is on P6 Domen Agnič in BMW M3 E30. But surprise we have on seventh place, where is Simon Rončel – first time in Peugeot 208 R2!
Jan Mrak (MG ZR 105) is on P8 and he is also the leader in Division 1.
