The biggest serbian event will remembered for long time. After published of 50 crews on entry list, there were just 38 crews on start of event.
Rally starts normal with four short stages on Saturday morning, but already five crews had problems. Popov and Baycho had accident, also Jović had close moment and must to retired.
It was time for the longest stage, SS Golden, with 30km distance. There retired another four crews.
But second day was worst for crews, spectators and organizators. The leader after Day 1, Al-Ketbi with Ford Fiesta R5, had accident on first morning stage. Stage was stopped. Stopped was also next stage, where crew Zečević – Konstantinović had hard accident on high speed section. SS9 was cancelled due safety reason, SS10 also wasn’t started.
But the most important thing is that all crews were ok. 28 crews finished event and bulgarian driver, Plamen Staykov (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX) become winner in that chaotic conditions. Second was another bulgarian driver, with the same racing car – Yordan Atanasov, third was Vladica Rabrenović with Renault Clio R3. There were eight bulgarian crews on top 10 positions. Second none-bulgarian crew Jerkič – Prelaz from Slovenia, made their best result in their career with seventh place overall.
