Krisztian Hideg and Juraj Šebalj are two-times winners in this season of Croatian Rally Championship. Hideg won on Rally Kumrovec and Opatija, Šebalj on Rally Velenje and INA Delta Rally. Croatia Rally is the biggest event on Croatia, just one event (Rally Poreč) is on the way to the finish of this season. Standings in croatian championship:
1. Juraj Šebalj – 127 points
2. Krisztian Hideg – 115,75
3. Janos Szilagyi – 41,25
Croatia Rally is counting also for Slovenian Rally Championship, where is leader Alex Humar (139,5 points) ahead Rok Turk (97,5) and Darko Peljhan (72,5). All of them are on entry list, just 11 crews form Slovenia is on the list. Why we must to have this event on our calendar? We really don’t know, it is 99% just because Rally Velenje was counting for croatian championship.
Event counts also for ERT and CEZ section, so there are also some austrian, hungarian, german and slovakian crews on a list. There are some crews also with R5 racing cars, but they aren’t garantied that they will come. For sure there will not compete Al-Ketbi, who had accident on Rally Serbia on previous weekend.
There is “standard” rally itinerary with 148,88km of old-knowing stages:
